Blend 2014

2014 is the last vintage of our blend. A wine that impresses with its elegance. Because of its age, it is perfectly round and full-bodied, gliding over the palate like silk. A real treat for lovers of large blends. Maybe there will be a sequel after all. But until then, let's enjoy this fantastic vintage.

Tasting

Colour: intense, vivid red
Nose: complex aromas, plums, cassis, graphite with blond tobacco
Palate: balanced, firm and silky tannins, juicy, chocolate, finish with clove and vanilla, long and persistent

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Carménère 30% & Petit Verdot 10%

Origin: Maipo Alto, Chile

Age of the vines: 26 years. 100% hand-picked (a hand selection of the grapes in the vineyard and then in the cellar)

Vinification : Pre-fermentative cold maceration of 7 days, alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks, post-fermentative maceration of 5 days, malolactic fermentation in barriques

100% of the wine was aged in French barriques for 24 months. Each grape variety is matured in barriques. The cuving takes place just a few days before bottling. The wine is neither fined nor filtered.
