Alexandra Besoain

Alexandra is German-New Zealander and has been operating an online wine shop for Besoain Wines in Germany since 2021.

She is taking on a new professional challenge, which she is very happy to fulfill.

After several years as a flight attendant and world traveler, Alexandra completed a master's degree in anthropology, art history and languages at the Universities of Bonn, Mainz, Barcelona and Sydney.

In her new home in Chile, she then worked for many years as a German teacher for the University of Heidelberg in Santiago and the Goethe Institute before becoming a self-employed language coach.

She worked with Miguel on many projects close to her heart, such as raising children, building her own country house, raising chickens and sheep, developing a farm in Patagonia and learning to play the harp from the age of 40.

Today, the development of Besoain Wines in Europe plays a leading role, which Alexandra follows with enthusiasm, while trying to shape family life on two continents with creativity and optimism, because that is in fact the real challenge.

The Andes and a cactus-covered range of hills form the breathtaking landscape in which the vineyards of Besoain Estate lie.
