Collection: LAFKEN
The name Lafken comes from the indigenous language of Chile, Mapudungun, and means terrace. Above the Maipo River and surrounded by a chain of hills are the vineyards of the Besoain family winery. This uniqueness of the site gives the wine line its name. The LAFKEN single vineyard edition is a selection of individual grape varieties and sites. From selected wineries, Miguel Besoain selects the sites and accompanies the ripening process and hand harvesting of the grapes in the vineyard. These are wines of the highest quality and purest expression of the grape variety and terroir of each vintage.

To better reach our direct customers, wine stores and restaurants, we commute between Germany and Chile and have our wines here on site in our wine depot in the Palatinate. From there, we ship the wines throughout Germany and to many countries in Europe.
